An old country-show slice that does not get made much any more. A short base, caramel spread over it, then more of the same mixture crumbled on top so it bakes up golden and a bit rough around the edges.

Best kept in the fridge and eaten within about four days. Takes the cold well, so it travels fine in an esky.
